On a typical day, 5A has24 patients with a 1:6 nurse/patient ratio and 1:10 CA/patientratio. We serve the general population of hospitalized patientswith a variety of conditions. The conditions include illnesses,surgery, testing, and observation patients. We take care ofpatients with comorbidities like diabetes, hypertension, stroke,renal and psychiatric issues. While caring for our patients is thefocus, 5A boasts a strong team environment, improved nursecommunication and a commitment to SOVAH Health’s core values. Qualifications:

Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license andpossess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school(Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Additional requirements include:
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support
