Registered Nurse (RN), Medical/Surgical, Charge, Nights(7p-7a) $20,000 Sign-on Bonus Eligible Supervises and mentors nursing and support staff during assignedshift .
- Determines staffing level and assignments based on staffavailability, staff abilities, census, patient acuity andwork/patient flow.
- Provides direct patient care as needed.
- Floats between staff to assist with problem-solving.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies anyissues that affect desired patient outcomes.
- Responds to complaints about patient care and related services,and manages through established channels.
- Ensures staff has necessary equipment and supplies to providesafe, quality patient care.
- Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinicalprotocols.

- Previous experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
Requirements will include successful completion of orientationchecklist, pharmacology exam, and skills/credentials/competencyrequirements of specific unit.

Verbal ability to presentinformation and ideas related to nursing theory and practice.
Ability to accept responsibility and accountability to prescribe,delegate, and coordinate nursing care provided on assigned units asrequired with leadership qualities.
- Requires the cognitive ability and practical ability to providenursing care appropriate to the patient population assigned,considering patient age, growth and development, and diagnosis withfull implementation of the nursing process to includeAssessment/Reassessment, Nursing Diagnosis, Planning,Implementation, and Evaluation.
