out of 5 stars North Carolina Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to assisted living residents across North Carolina facilities and specialties, including geriatrics, memory care and assisted living residents. Responsibilities can differ among communities, but usually include: Provide oversight of the residents’ health as a whole through monitoring and ensuring a high standard of care. Supervise CNAs, med-techs, and other staff members who provide care. In conjunction with physicians, develop and initiate care plans. Monitor residents to assess the effectiveness of their medication and care plans, possible unintended side effects and negative medicine interactions. Complete clinical assessments of residents’ health status. Interact with residents’ families and loved ones as needed to report changes in their health or care plan. Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients’ health status, documenting changes and responding appropriately. Oversee medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards. Qualifications Valid nursing license in the State of North Carolina. Experience in assisted living nursing is preferred. Experience working with geriatric and memory loss is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining compassion for patients. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
