The position consists of one day, every three weeks at our Cary office, to maintain a rolling infusion schedule . Our ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, is kind and compassionate, and is able to maintain a high level of professionalism. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Administering nursing care to a variety of patients Placing IV catheters and monitoring IV infusions Communicate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and referring practitioners regarding patient care Maintain accurate patient medical records and billing for infusions Provide advice and support to patients and their family members Qualifications and skills Previous experiencing in nursing, preferably experience monitoring IV medication administration Familiarity with EHR and medical equipment Maintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times Ability to build rapport with patients and other team members Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and multi-task Highly dependable and organized Candidates should possess at least one year of experience nursing. Experience utilizing Athena is preferred.
