Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status regularly. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for patients. Provide support in memory care, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for patients with cognitive impairments. Engage with patients in behavioral health settings, offering emotional support and monitoring mental health conditions. Educate patients and families on health management, medication usage, and wellness strategies. Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff. Perform IV insertion as needed, along with other clinical tasks such as dermal fillers when applicable. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care quality. Skills Proficiency in medical documentation practices to ensure accurate patient records. Experience or knowledge in memory care techniques for effective patient engagement. Understanding of behavioral health principles to support mental wellness initiatives. Competence in performing IV insertion procedures safely and effectively. Ability to assess vital signs accurately and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions. Strong knowledge of infection control practices to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
