Goldsboro, NC Shift/Hours:
Full-Time, 36 hours/week, Night Shift 7:00 pm
- 7:00 am
Position Overview:
Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals at UNC Health Wayne in our 3rd Floor Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit. We care for patients with complex needs, focusing on high-quality, compassionate care. This role offers the opportunity to be a key player in the advancement of clinical care, all while working in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the delivery of nursing care. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care. Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
Active NC RN License or ability to obtain prior to start. BLS Certification required. Experience in Telemetry/Progressive Care preferred. Open to New Grads! Why Work for UNC Health Wayne?
