- Professionaldevelopment and growth opportunities Department/Unit Summary TheRadiation Oncology Department is a specialized team dedicated toproviding high-quality care to patients undergoing radiationtherapy for cancer treatment.
Our department works collaborativelywith the radiation oncologist, radiation therapists, physicists,and dosimetrists to deliver personalized care plans aimed atmaximizing treatment efficacy while minimizing side effects. As anurse in our Radiation Oncology Department, you will play a keyrole in patient care, supporting individuals throughout theirtreatment journey. Your responsibilities will include managing sideeffects, providing education, emotional support, ensuring patientsafety, monitor patient progress, and serve as a vitalcommunication link between patients and the multidisciplinary careteam. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic,patient-centered environment, where you will have a direct impacton patients’ physical and emotional well-being. Qualifications:
Qualifications and requirements Applicants shouldhave a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree froman accredited program.
Additional requirements include:
- BSNpreferred
- BLS required
