- Professional development andgrowth opportunities Department/Unit Summary Join our team in a19-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit.
Staffed with Registered Nurses(RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental HealthTechnicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists andPsychiatric Providers. Our unit treats a variety of diagnoses suchas Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder,Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and SubstanceUse Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidalideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mentalillness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively ina supportive environment focused on providing quality care andsupport to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. Qualifications:
Qualifications and requirements Applicants shouldhave a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree froman accredited program.
Additional requirements include:
- BasicLife Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- Handle with Care and Behavioral Health specific training provided
