POSITION STANDARDS
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current New Graduate Temporary RN License from New Hampshire BON
  • Current BCLS certification required upon hire
  • ACLS will be required by month six
  • Recent clinical experience with an accredited school of nursing
  • Previous health care experiences an asset
  • The Registered Nurse cares for newborn through geriatric patients (depending on unit).

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Performance Expectation
  • The Graduate Nurse, under the supervision of a preceptor or charge nurse, is responsible to meet the complete nursing needs of assigned patients utilizing the nursing process and following medical orders
  • The Graduate Nurse is responsible to perform in accordance to the New Hampshire Nurse Practice Act, CMS guidelines, the Patient/Resident Bill of Rights and the applicable governing body standards of care
  • Temporary Graduate License to be replaced with an RN nursing license within 120 days of being issued the temporary license
  • To follow all performance expectations of the RN job description of the assigned unit under the supervision of a preceptor or charge nurse.
