Salary:

$2808 / Week Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process andthe delivery of patient care. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner with supervision. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability inthe coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and isaccountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

SURGICAL UNIT MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE CARING FOR PATIENTS AFTER VASCULAR, THORACIC, COLORECTAL AND GENERAL SURGERY.

The most common diagnosis’s on their unit: ARDS, esophagectomies, whipples, sepsis LNA ratios to patients: 1: 7-11 (unit shares with PCU) RN Patient ratios on days is 4:1 and on nights is 5:1 Would they expect the traveler to float: yes

Required Experience:

• Chest tubes
• Tubes
• Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone
• Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients
• Trachs/Laryngectomies
• Telemetry
• Complex wounds
• Central Lines
