About the

Job:

Under the directsupervision of a Registered Nurse, delivers care to patients andfamilies with needs ranging from basic to complex utilizing thenursing process. Creates a therapeutic and caring environment forpatient and families. Practices in a manner consistent with theElliot Hospital Interprofessional Practice model; the ANA’s SocialPolicy Statement, Scope and Standards of Practice, and the NursingCode of Ethics; and relevant specialty standards of practice.

WhatYou’ll Do:

Embraces and promotes change to support optimal patientoutcomes and an effective professional practice environment. Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning, andcommunicates that plan of care to patient and family for input; andto colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings. Utilizes current evidence and relevant national/specialtystandards to guide practice and/or performance and identifies areasfor improvement. Demonstrates competent clinical practice utilizing clinicaldecision making and critical thinking skills.

Who You Are:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ASN Required withactive enrolled in BSN enrollment in a program (signed BSNcommitment form needed). BSN Preferred. Graduate Nurse status is designated for those individuals whohold temporary licensure to practice under the supervision of aRegistered Nurse. This status is maintained from date of hire untilthe issuance of a permanent license by the New Hampshire Board ofNursing. Ability to obtain BCLS qualification during orientation periodand maintain during employment. Nurses are expected to pursue professional certification uponeligibility or within three years of entering the specialtypractice. Ability to advance basic computer skills as the health systemadds new systems or performs upgrades to existing systems.
