Role:
As a Functional Assessor, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting individuals with various health conditions by conducting assessments that determine their eligibility for PIP. Your expertise will help ensure that individuals receive the support they need to live more independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting thorough assessments of individuals with physical, mental and learning disabilities. Analysing and documenting functional capabilities and limitations. Providing clear, accurate reports based on your findings. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to assess the needs of clients. Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to industry regulations.

About You:
You have a background in healthcare as a Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Physician. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. An empathetic, person-centered approach to care. An ability to work independently while adhering to guidelines and regulations. Previous assessment experience is a plus but not essential.
