Job Description:

Delivers care to patients and families with needs ranging frombasic to complex utilizing the nursing process. Creates atherapeutic and caring environment for patient and families.

Practices in a manner consistent with the Elliot HospitalInterprofessional Practice model; the ANA’s Social PolicyStatement, Scope and Standards of Practice, and the Nursing Code ofEthics; and relevant specialty standards of practice. Key Responsibilities Embraces and promotes change to support optimal patient outcomesand an effective professional practice environment. Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning, andcommunicates that plan of care to patient and family for input; andto colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts andsettings. Utilizes current evidence and relevant national/specialty standardsto guide practice and/or performance and identifies areas forimprovement. Demonstrates competent clinical practice utilizing clinicaldecision making and critical thinking skills.

Education/Experience/Licensure Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelorsof Science in Nursing preferred.

Licensure:

New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact StateRegistered Nurse License.

Technical Certification:

Ability to obtain BLS qualification duringorientation period and maintain during employment. ACLSpreferred.
