Job:
The RN CriticalCare Support Nurse provides expert clinical guidance and patientcare to acutely ill patients. This role serves as a mentor,facilitator, and clinical expert, supporting direct care nurses andcollaborating with nursing leadership to improve patient careoutcomes. You’ll provide hands-on support, lead in urgent responsesituations, and engage in ongoing nursing education anddevelopment.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform routine rounding for acutelyill patients to identify issues and respond accordingly.
- Provideexpert clinical guidance and policy support to direct care nurses
- Mentor and assist during emergent situations as part of theclinical care team.
- Offer peer support and facilitate criticalevent debriefings.
- Deliver direct nursing care for patientsneeding critical care interventions.
- Collaborate on educationaland training initiatives to improve nursing practices.
- Maintaincompetence in specialized skills such as Ultrasound Guided IVPlacement.
- Evaluate patient care outcomes and adjust strategiesas necessary.
Who You Are /
Requirements:
- You have a BSN (MSNpreferred) and current NH RN licensure.
- You bring at least fiveyears of critical care nursing experience, with two years in aleadership role.
- You have expertise in clinical education, codes,and emergency response.
- Certification in critical care nursing(CCRN) or related specialties is a plus.
- Experience in pediatriccare and EPIC superuser status is advantageous.
