Our neurologists are experts in treating awide variety of neurological disorders. We provide diagnosis andnon-surgical treatment and management of disorders of the brain,spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. Position SummaryDelivers care to patients and families with needs ranging frombasic to complex utilizing the nursing process. Creates atherapeutic and caring environment for patient and families.
Practices in a manner consistent with the Elliot HospitalInterprofessional Practice model; the ANA’s Social PolicyStatement, Scope and Standards of Practice, and the Nursing Code ofEthics; and relevant specialty standards of practice. KeyResponsibilities
- Embraces and promotes change to support optimalpatient outcomes and an effective professional practiceenvironment.
- Involves patient/family in goal setting andplanning, and communicates that plan of care to patient and familyfor input; and to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shiftsand settings.
- Utilizes current evidence and relevantnational/specialty standards to guide practice and/or performanceand identifies areas for improvement.
- Demonstrates competentclinical practice utilizing clinical decision making and criticalthinking skills. Education/Experience/Licensure

Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors of Sciencein Nursing preferred.

Licensure:
New Hampshire Registered Nurseor Compact State Registered Nurse License.

TechnicalCertification:
Ability to obtain BLS qualification duringorientation period and maintain during employment. ACLS preferred.
