Job:
As a member of thePatient Care Services team, the Inpatient Psych Registered Nursecares for patients ranging from all ages with acute and chronicpsychiatric disorders. The Psych RN specializes in assessing,intervening and stabilizing patients in situations that requirecritical clinical decision-making skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Assessand implements priority-based nursing care and establish goals tomeet the patient’s needs.
- Integrate patient values, bestpractice, and evidence into patient care.
- Engage patients and/orfamilies in the care delivery.
- Function competently within ownscope of practice.
- Utilize a communication style/practice to meetthe needs of the team and/or the situation.
- Delegate careactivities to patient care team.
- Collaborate with otherdisciplines to provide the patient with comprehensive care.
Who YouAre:
- Current NH licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate froman accredited school of nursing (ADN / BSN required)
- 1-2 yearsexperience in mental health preferred
