7p-7a Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for monitoring critically ill patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, including vital signs and lab results. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including performing advanced procedures. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assess patient conditions. Proficiency in performing procedures such as spinal taps, phlebotomy, gastric lavage, and ostomy care. Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed. Experience with dialysis procedures is preferred. Familiarity with workers’ compensation law is advantageous. Knowledge of assisted living environments can enhance patient care strategies.
