About the
Job:
We are seeking a dynamic RN Clinical Nurse Leader to provideadvanced nursing leadership within our oncology unit. As a lateralintegrator of care, you will design, coordinate, and evaluatecomprehensive care for patients while supporting health promotion,safety, and optimal outcomes. This role involves collaboration withinterdisciplinary teams, mentoring clinical staff, and drivingprocess improvements using data and evidence-based practices.
What You’ll Do:
As a member of the nursing leadership team and in collaborationwith other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, and inaccordance with the NH Nurse Practice Act, all applicableregulatory and specialty standards and SNHHS policies andprocedures, the Clinical Nurse Leader provides peer/horizontalleadership accountable for the clinical nursing management ofpatient care and the care environment. Maintains detailed knowledgeof all patients in caseload and demonstrates excellentcommunication skills with all members of the interdisciplinary teamto serve as a lateral integrator of care. Serves as a change agentto translate and integrate evidence into practice; to evaluate anddesign safe, quality care, and to improve patient outcomes.
Maintains 24-hour accountability for care provided by self andothers to whom nursing care is delegated. Coordinate and evaluate comprehensive patient care with a focus onhealth promotion, risk reduction, and patient/familyinvolvement. Use clinical data and performance metrics to drive qualityimprovement, patient safety, and optimal outcomes. Serve as a leader and educator by mentoring staff, updatingclinical protocols, and promoting lifelong learning. Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to ensure effectivecommunication, efficient resource use, and professionalconduct. Leverage technology (e.g., Epic) and evidence-based practices toenhance care delivery and system processes. Support organizational initiatives through participation inprojects, committees, and staff development efforts.
Who You Are / requirements:
Required:
BSN with 5+ years of acute care RN experience (2+ inoncology); MSN or equivalent within 3 years of hire; active NH RNlicense; CNL certification within 3 years; OCN preferred. Experience with Epic/Beacon required. BLS and active chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider cardrequired.
