patients Unit Details CPPU is a 24 bed inpatient cardiac procedural unit housing cardiac telemetry along with pre and post cardiac procedural patients Average length of stay is 1.8-2.4 days in length There is rapid patient turnover on the unit daily. There is an ADT (Admission, Discharge, Transfer) nurse available on the unit Monday-Friday during peak patient transition times. Scheduling Any absences have to be made up at the end of the contract and cannot be made up as an OT day If nurse calls out on a weekend shift, they will have to automatically make another weekend shift up at the manager’s discretion per the 2020 policy
