Local Pay:

$40-47/hr on W2. Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, including inpatient facilities and home care environments. The LVN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care tailored to their individual needs. Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or physician. Assist with catheterization and other personal care needs of patients. Perform diagnostic evaluations and document patient information accurately in medical records. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infections. Provide toddler care as needed, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for young patients. Support airway management for patients requiring respiratory assistance. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Maintain a clean and organized medical office or home care environment, adhering to safety protocols. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with medical terminology and best practices. Skills Proficient in catheterization techniques and patient assessment skills. Experience in inpatient settings, particularly within a Level I Trauma Center, is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and patient care protocols. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and team members. Ability to perform tasks using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Compassionate approach towards toddler care, understanding the unique needs of young patients. Capability to manage airway issues competently when required in acute situations.
