A fantastic hospital in the East San Francisco Bay area is insearch of a new Oncology Services Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Oncology setting.
The Oncology Services Manager will report directly to the OncologyService Line Director. This person will be supported by 2 assistantmanagers and multiple Senior Oncology RNs, all working together toprovide comprehensive care to this specific population of patients.
This Nurse will have the opportunity to continue growth anddevelopment of their career under the direction and mentorship of agreat team in a world-class department. This well developed Cancer Center consists of state of the arttechnology, servicing a 200+ bed hospital as well as patients beingtreated for their cancer in an outpatient setting. The OncologyServices Manager will join a department that is known for excellentcare and playing a significant role in quality and treatment. The Oncology Services Manager will be in charge of overseeing thatinpatient hematology care provided by nurses is efficient andthorough. This involves keeping staff up to date with current bestpractices and making sure they are following guidelines set by thehospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with theOncology Service Line Director and physicians to achieve thehighest level of operational and clinical efficiency that alignswith the hospital’s standards and values. The Oncology ServicesManager will also have opportunities to develop their staff througheducation and quality improvement initiatives.
