Thestaff registered nurse (RN) is a licensed professional caregiverwho assumes responsibility and accountability for planning,delegating, and coordinating the nursing care of a group ofpatients during a designated time frame utilizing the John MuirMedical Center Standards of Care, ANA’s Standards of Practice andProfessional Performance, and the California Nurse Practice Act,Title 22, and Title 16. The RN coordinates and provides carethrough the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and theenvironment and technology, in partnership and collaboration withinterdisciplinary team members.

Education:

Graduate of an Accredited School of Accredited School ofNursing

• RequiredExperience:

  6 Months Nursing

• Acute Care

• PreferredCertifications/Licensures:

  RN Registered Nursing

• California Board of Registered Nursing
• Required BLS Basic Life Support
• American Heart Association

• Must beObtained within last 3 years Demonstrate clinical competency in scrubbing and circulatingsurgical procedures including cardiac procedures. 1000 hours Nursing

• Must beObtained Within last 3 years Demonstrated clinical competency in circulating most surgicalprocedures.

97HourlyOffer amounts are basedon demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.

Pay will beadjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.

Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) underthe level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposeson this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ onit.
