Travel RN, Emergency Department
DEXTROMEDICAL
New London, NH 03257 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room team. This role is crucial in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our team at a Level I Trauma Center, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care in emergency situations. The ideal candidate will have experience in trauma medicine and urgent care and a strong medical documentation foundation.
Travel Package and details:
Gross weekly est.: $2,422 ($67.27/hr) Weekly tax-free stipend: $1,162 ($32.27/hr.) Weekly W-2 rate: $1,260 ($35/hr.)
Shift:
Nights, 3×12’s, 36 hrs. Completion bonus 13-week contract
Start:
ASAP Local pay rate: $68/hr.
Required:
Minimum 3+ years of recent ED experience – Required, Experience in a Critical Access facility
BLS ACLS PALS TNCC
Every Other Weekend/Holidays required, BLOCK
SCHEDULING WILL NOT BE APPROVED FOR THIS NEED.
Duties Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting. Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ conditions and vital signs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Document all patient interactions, treatments, and responses accurately in medical records. Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans. Participate in trauma response protocols and manage critical situations effectively. Assist with tube feeding procedures when necessary. Stay informed about workers’ compensation law as it pertains to patient care. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience working in an Emergency Room or urgent care setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology and trauma medicine principles. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and standards. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
