Local ContractOrientation will be in the 1st shift for 4 weeks. Minimum 2 year ofpsych experience is required.

Job Description:

• Conductingphysical assessments, including psychiatric or admissionassessments.
• Administering medication(s).
• Processing ofphysician orders.
• Monitoring vital signs.
• Testing blood glucoselevels.
• Completing treatments.
• Conducting pain assessments.
• Changing dressings.
• Providing venipuncture services.
• Managementof the milieu.
• Utilizing the electronic health record (EHR) ofNHH and Glencliff to obtain clinical information and to documentpatient care.
• Communicating both verbally and in writing toreport related findings
• In accordance with agency policies,declare a personal safety emergency stemming from any situationwhere the physical or emotional safety of an individual is at riskand immediate action is necessary to prevent harm or injury (e.

g.,physical assaults, verbal threats, medical equipment malfunctions,or incidents of patient/resident elopement) as needed.
