Job Summary:

The RN is responsible for the coordination and management of clinical duties of the primary care core team. Provides clinical support to the providers and other healthcare professionals within the clinic maintaining smooth patient flow and delivering quality patient care. Responsible for various duties including performing basic medical procedures, managing medical records and coordinating administrative tasks. The RN is expected to participate in any function they have been deemed competent to perform within their defined scope.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at North Star Health. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist practitioners, and ensure efficient clinical operations within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments and triage within state-defined scope of practice
  • Perform telephone and in-person triage using established protocols
  • Administer vaccines and medications following proper safety protocols
  • Assist with procedures such as suture removal, dressing changes, and specimen collection
  • Conduct nurse visits using established protocols for simple conditions
  • Provide patient education and follow-up care after emergency room visits or hospitalizations
  • Participate in panel management to ensure timely care for chronic and complex conditions
  • Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team and external agencies
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in electronic medical records
  • Monitor and maintain clinical supplies, emergency equipment, and quality control measures
