PACU:

PACU, med/surg,Interventional radiology, icu, itcu,

Chemo:

Background inadministering chemo, infusion.

Experience:

IV placementproficiency, access to PICC, Ports, and Central Line The positionis a solo RN working with an oncologist Home chemo infusionexperience is a plus Perioperative Dept. that manages smallchemotherapy/Infusion caseload Common chemotherapeutics/Ironinfusions/GI infusions. Avg 2-4 per week. Infusions last 4-6 hoursand nurse does own scheduling with patients. Between infusions orslower days RN is asked to assist PACU and perform departmentpaperwork as needed. Some patients are admitted to med-surg floorto continue infusions overnight. IV Certificate required, can beobtained before start Must have
