IV placement proficiency, access to PICC, Ports, and Central Line The position is a solo RN working with an oncologist… Home chemo infusion experience is a plus Perioperative Dept. that manages small chemotherapy/Infusion caseload Common chemotherapeutics/Iron infusions/GI infusions. Avg 2-4 per week. Infusions last 4-6 hours and nurse does own scheduling with patients. Between infusions or slower days RN is asked to assist PACU and perform department paperwork as needed.
