Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. Perform outpatient procedures such as suturing and specimen collection processing. Manage discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients post-treatment. Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication. Participate in coding for billing purposes to ensure accurate record-keeping. Provide care for patients of all ages, with a focus on toddler care when necessary. Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve systems and processes for enhanced patient care. Experience A valid Nurse Practitioner license is required. Previous experience in outpatient settings is preferred. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and familiarity with discharge planning processes is essential. Experience with specimen collection processing and coding is advantageous.
