This is a temporary contract position with opportunity for extension, and an exciting way to join one of the area’s most prestigious hospital systems!

6am – 4:30pm (4×10)

WEEKLY GROSS RATE

$2,500 – $2,700 PRIMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery, and assess vital signs, consciousness, pain levels, and surgical sites
• Manage pain and post-operative symptoms, administering medications and interventions as needed
• Ensure patient safety during recovery, watching for complications like respiratory distress or bleeding
• Communicate with surgical teams and families, providing updates and post-op care instructions
• Prepare patients for transfer, ensuring stability before moving them to another unit or discharge

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum two (2) years of recent RN experience in critical and post-anesthesia care
• Minimum one (1) year of recent PACU experience in a hospital setting
• Strong telemetry background
• Familiarity with

EPIC EDUCATION

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

CERTIFICATIONS

• Active New Jersey State Registered Nurse (RN) license or multistate license and registration
• Active National Telemetry Association (NTA) certification
• OR•American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) Telemetry certification •American Heart Association BLS certification •American Heart Association ACLS certification •American Heart Association PALS certification •Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
