As a Behavioral Health RN,you’ll care for patients with psychiatric conditions, emotionaldisorders, and substance abuse challenges. You’ll assess mentalhealth needs, implement individualized care plans, and supportpatient safety in a secure, therapeutic environment.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document patient mentalhealth status and behaviors
• Administer medications and monitorfor side effects or reactions
• Implement therapeutic interventionsand de-escalation techniques
• Collaborate with psychiatrists,therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients andfamilies about diagnoses, medications, and coping strategies
• Maintain a safe environment in accordance with facility policiesand state regulations

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compactlicense preferred)
• BLS certification required; CPI or PMABcertification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent behavioralhealth or psychiatric nursing experience
• Strong communication,observation, and crisis management skills
