Position Overview:

A well-regarded healthcare facility in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse with Interventional Radiology experience for a 13-week contract. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

Maintain continuous communication with patients, fellow nurses, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and care plans Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies for safe delivery Perform ongoing electronic documentation of patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes Provide patient•and family-centered education to promote health, wellness, and effective disease management Coordinate multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience, preferably in Interventional Radiology or related setting Ability to quickly learn and adapt to changing clinical needs Strong sense of accountability and patient advocacy Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills Commitment to ongoing learning and delivering high-quality, compassionate care Certifications (Required Prior to Start): BLS (Basic Life Support)•AHA Certified ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Active NJ State RN License or Multi-State Compact License
