Job Description
RN Med/Surg Telemetry Camden Coalition 1 Capital Way, Pennington, NJ 08534 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role involves working closely with patients undergoing various medical and surgical procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their treatment journey. Duties Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team promptly. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care, including case management and discharge planning. Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and post-operative care. Perform phlebotomy for lab tests as needed and assist with medical imaging procedures. Support airway management for patients requiring respiratory assistance. Participate in the administration of Botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers when applicable. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with healthcare regulations. Requirements Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Strong clinical knowledge in Medical/Surgical nursing; experience in ophthalmology or home community care is a plus. Proficiency in case management practices and familiarity with medical office protocols. Ability to perform phlebotomy and manage airway interventions effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
