Full-Time / Part-Time Overview We are seeking a vibrant Resident Nurse with a active New Jersey state RN License for our Adult Day Care facility in Edison, NJ. The candidate should be a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or a nurse with up to 1+ years of experience who is interested in geriatric care in a community-based setting. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in home care or assisted living environments. Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and maintain accurate medical records. Monitor patients’ health status and respond to changes in condition, including triage as necessary. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Provide specialized care such as catheter care and trauma medicine when required. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Educate patients and their families on health management, including dementia care strategies. Utilize electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks for documentation and communication. Qualifications Valid Resident Nurse license in the state of New Jersey is a MUST . 0-2+ years of nursing experience; new grads are encouraged to apply. Experience in home care, senior care, or assisted living preferred, but not needed. Strong interest in working with the elderly population. Proficient in managing medical records and documentation practices. Strong skills in triage, catheter care, trauma medicine, and operating room procedures are desirable. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and family support. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team. Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care. CPR/BLS certification preferred.
