• Labor & Delivery for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Neptune, NJ.

Job Function :

Day Shift or Night Shift. 3×12: 7:30am

• 7pm /7pm
• 7:30am.

Categorize patients into the appropriate level of classification. Apply external fetal monitors and interpret fetal heart tracings and uterine activity. Implement interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal status during labor. Administer medications following the “Five Rights” of safety, infection control guidelines, and provider orders. Screen patients for pain during the initial assessment and perform reassessments according to guidelines.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of New Jersey. 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty required. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association required. Fetal Monitoring Certificate preferred.
