JobDescription:

As an L&D RN, you’ll care for patients throughoutthe labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum process. You’llsupport families during life-changing moments while managinghigh-risk situations with skill and empathy. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout labor anddelivery
• Assist physicians and midwives during childbirth
• Administer medications and IVs, including epidurals and Pitocin
• Educate and support patients and families on birth plans andnewborn care
• Manage emergencies such as preeclampsia, hemorrhage,or fetal distress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
• BLSand ACLS certifications required; NRP and fetal monitoringcertification preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent L&Dnursing experience
• Strong knowledge of obstetric protocols andfetal monitoring interpretation
