Local Contract WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a renowned hospital in Morristown, NJ.

Job Function:

Night Shift. 3×12: 7pm – 7am. Applies and interprets external fetal monitoring to assess fetal heart rate and uterine activity. Implements appropriate interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal status. Identifies and responds to emergency situations, notifying the provider as needed. Administers medications in accordance with the five rights of safety and infection control guidelines. Assists physicians or midwives during labor and delivery.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred. Active RN license in the state of New Jersey. 2 years of acute care experience in Labor and Delivery. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association. Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred. Experience in a Level III, high-acuity setting required.
