Your Role:

Direct Nursing Care

• Provide care to students and staff who visit the health office for minor injuries, illnesses, and medication administration. Health Assessments & Screenings
• Conduct assessments and screenings to identify health issues, providing appropriate interventions or referrals as necessary. Record Maintenance
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students, including immunization records, health history, and medication logs. Collaboration
• Work with school administrators, teachers, and parents to develop and implement health policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy school environment. Health Education
• Educate students, staff, and parents on health topics like nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Ideal Candidate:

Passionate about Pediatric Care

• If you’re dedicated to supporting children’s health and well-being, this is the perfect role for you. Experience
• At least one year of professional nursing experience. Certification
• An active NJ Nursing License and CPR certification. Fingerprinting
• Willingness to complete the NJ Department of Education Fingerprinting process (We’ll reimburse you!) Substitute School Nurse Certificate
