RN•PACU•Local Contract 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Morristown, NJ WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Post Anesthesia Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Morristown, NJ.

Job Function :

Night Shift. 3×12: 6pm•7am. Provides individualized, emotionally supportive post-operative nursing care per physician or anesthesiologist instructions. Documents nursing activities and prepares discharge notes once transfer to recovery is approved. Monitors and records vital signs and level of consciousness according to protocol. Ensures necessary equipment and supplies are stocked and accessible. Assists physicians as needed during post-operative care.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current RN license in the state of New Jersey. 2 years of acute PACU nursing experience required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association. Experience with both pediatric and adult PACU patients required. CCRN or CPAN certification preferred.
