In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, monitoring their vital signs and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Provide care for patients with various medical conditions, including those requiring neonatal ventilator support. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records for all patient interactions. Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and health coaching. Assist in medical imaging procedures as needed, including mammography. Provide infant care when necessary, ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort for newborns. Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the telemetry unit. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Experience in a telemetry or critical care setting preferred. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and electronic health records. Knowledge of neonatal care practices is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a Level I Trauma Center environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
