- One year of recent experience as an RNin a long-term care setting/n/t
- Valid RN license in compliancewith state regulations/n/t
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPRcertification/n /n/n

Summary:
/n/n A Registered Nurse (RN)in a long-term care (LTC) facility provides skilled nursing care toresidents, ensuring their health, comfort, and well-being. RNsoversee patient care plans, administer treatments, monitor forchanges in condition, and collaborate with healthcare teams toprovide high-quality, resident-centered care. They also play a keyrole in supervising nursing staff, educating residents andfamilies, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations andfacility policies. /n/n
Essential Work Functions:
/n/n /n/t
- Assesspatient or resident health, monitor for changes, and takeappropriate action to ensure their well-being/n/t
- Develop,update, and implement personalized care plans in collaboration withresidents, families, and the patient care team/n/t
- Administermedications and treatments safely and accurately/n/t
- Observeresidents for any medication reactions or changes in condition andreport concerns to the healthcare provider/n/t
- Provide treatmentsincluding wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and otherskilled procedures within scope of practice/n/t
- Supervise andsupport LPNs and CNAs delegating appropriately and ensuringresidents receive quality care/n/t
- Educate residents and familieson medications, treatments, and managing chronic conditions/n/t
- Document care provided, resident progress, and any health changesin a timely manner/n/t
- Respond quickly to emergencies, deliveringcritical care and coordinating with medical teams when needed/n/t
- Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcareprofessionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care/n/t
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice/n/t
- Adhere to facility safety protocols, infection control guidelines,and regulatory standards/n /n/n
Required Essential Skills:

- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonalcommunication skills/n/t
- The ability to read, write, &communicate in the English language is required/n/t
- Ability toread/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions,and proficiency in PC skills/n/t

- Remain in astationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs),pushing, pulling, bending/n/t
- Interpersonal Skills
- To workeffectively with a variety of personnel (professional andancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism/n/t
- Technical/Motor Skills
- Ability to grasp, fine manipulation,pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting withprocedures and/or using department equipment./n/t
- MentalRequirements
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with thegeneral public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as wellas working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able tocontend with irregular activity schedules occasionally andcontinuous concentration to detail/n/t
