Job Description
RN – Stepdown – Local Contract 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Summit, NJ WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Step-Down RN for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Summit, NJ.
Job Function:
Night Shift. 3×12: 7pm – 7am. Deliver patient care using the principles of Relationship Centered Care and evidence-based nursing practices. Assess and evaluate patient needs while applying critical thinking to care planning and management. Integrate appropriate assessment and intervention skills in the delivery of nursing care. Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, discharge planning, health promotion, and disease prevention.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active RN license in the state of New Jersey. 2 years of acute ICU/CCU Stepdown experience required. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
