RN Infusion Specialist Intravascular Consultants LLC New Jersey Overview We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and skilled Registered Infusion Nurse to join our home infusion team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care, ER, out-patient surgery, with recent proficiency in peripheral IV insertions and administering intravenous therapies. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, particularly for children, and the ability to work effectively in home and family environments. Responsibilities Administer intravenous medications and therapies to patients as prescribed. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage any complications that arise during infusion therapy. Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status, including vital signs and overall condition. Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment protocols, medication administration, and care procedures. Perform IV insertions with precision and care, ensuring patient comfort throughout the process. Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in medical records. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of New Jersey. Two years of hospital experience and/or home infusion experience. Proficient in IV insertion techniques and central venous access device management, ie., port-a-cath, picc lines, midlines and tunneled catheters. Strong assessment skills with the ability to recognize changes in patient conditions promptly. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Pay:
