$72,072.00 -$74,229.26 The Registered Professional Nurse assesses, coordinates,plans, directs, implements and manages the needs of assignedpatients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progresstoward discharge, including during transitions within the acutecare stay. The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for thedelivery and coordination of patient care provided by thecaregiving team. S/he assures that competent, compassionate patientcare is uniformly provided to customers including referringfacilities, hospital staff and patients in the inpatient,ambulatory, and community settings. Registered Professional Nursesthat participate in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway(NPAP) must progress from novice to competent within a specialty.

Nurses are eligible to apply for advancement to proficient orexpert status as outlined in the NPAP. The Registered ProfessionalNurse assesses, coordinates, plans, directs, implements and managesthe needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care witha focus on progress toward discharge, including during transitionswithin the acute care stay. The Registered Professional Nurse isresponsible for the delivery and coordination of patient careprovided by the caregiving team. S/he assures that competent,compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customersincluding referring facilities, hospital staff and patients in theinpatient, ambulatory, and community settings. RegisteredProfessional Nurses that participate in the Nursing ProfessionalAdvancement Pathway (NPAP) must progress from novice to competentwithin a specialty.
