Salary Range:

$76,396.32 – $126,730.61 The Clinical Nurse assesses, coordinates,plans, directs, implements and manages the needs of assignedpatients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progresstoward discharge, including during transitions within the acutecare stay. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for the delivery andcoordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team. S/heassures that competent, compassionate patient care is uniformlyprovided to customers including referring facilities, hospitalstaff and patients in the inpatient, ambulatory, and communitysettings.

Hourly Range:

$36.73 – $60.93 Essential Duties ℜsponsibilities include but not limited to:

• Implements physicianorders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments,procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required bycompany policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify andassess patients’ conditions.
• Assesses and evaluates patient needsfor, and responses to, care rendered.
• Applies sound nursingjudgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provides primaryand emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuriesand illnesses.
• Administers over-the-counter and prescriptionmedications as ordered.
• Collaborates with the nursing team tocreate a Plan of Care for all patients.
• Directs and guidesancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional academicnursing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree orBaccalaureate Degree is conferred.
• Must hold current NYSRegistered Nurse license
• Obtains and maintains certification inBasic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), andPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Minimum of 1-3 years ofclinical RN experience is required
• Minimum of 1 year of Telemetryor ICU experience is required
• Ability to improve job performancethrough continuing education.
• Possesses knowledge of qualityconcepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques anddemonstrates ability to apply in support of departmental andpatient care quality improvement.
