Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner Position Available In Albany, New York

Capital Cardiology Associates is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who specializes or is interested in electrophysiology to join our practice. The ideal candidate would have cardiology and/or electrophysiology experience however new graduates are encouraged to apply. The primary focus would be caring for patients with defibrillators, pacemakers, and implantable loop monitors as well as management of their cardiac conditions. There would also be rotation to our Enhanced Cardiac Access (ECA) where the Advanced Practitioner (AP) would work alongside cardiologists to provide exceptional and compassionate care to patients with acute cardiac symptoms on an urgent basis. The position would be Monday through Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm; no weekend/holiday/call commitments.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and physical exams Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic cardiac illnesses Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans for cardiac conditions Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other health professionals Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

Current NYS PA or NP license in good standing Board Certification and

BLS/ACLS

are required

Compensation:

Salary $105,000-$120,000/ annually (based on experience and qualifications)
