License CWCN Graduate Nurse Mid-level Wound care Organizational skills LPN Leadership 2 years Communication skills Nursing Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) Full Job Description A distinguished Bronx-based hospital is seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse who holds either NAWCCB certification (National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy – WCC) or WOCN certification (Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse). The ideal candidate is a clinically skilled and credentialed nurse capable of providing leadership, education, and oversight to ensure high-quality wound care outcomes across the facility.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm

Location:

Bronx Key Responsibilities:

Perform wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Educate and mentor nursing staff in evidence-based wound care practices. Ensure program compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Qualifications:

Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license. Must hold one of the following certifications (wound-only accepted): NAWCCB certification (National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy – WCC) OR WOCN certification (Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse) Minimum 2+ years of wound care experience. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Strong clinical knowledge of wound care products, modalities, and best practices.
