Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health disorders, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting recovery and rehabilitation. This role requires a strong understanding of psychiatric nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health status and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions. Provide therapeutic support through individual and group therapy sessions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and treatment plans. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Athenahealth. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. Assist with daily living activities for patients, including tube feeding and ventilating when necessary. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in long-term care settings.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience required. ACLS (AHA) BLS (AHA) PALS (AHA)
