AM Pay Rate:
$86/hour and $2,967/
Weekly Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive, family-centered care to patients in active labor through postpartum Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vitals, and labor progression using electronic fetal monitoring Administer medications, including conscious sedation, and manage IV therapies Assist with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries Perform IV insertions, blood draws, and manage pre/post-procedure care Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatal staff Maintain infection control practices and prioritize patient safety Provide patient education and emotional support throughout the labor and delivery process
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience in an acute care hospital Proficient in maternal-child nursing, IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, emotionally intense environment Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
Required Certifications:
Active New York State RN License (primary source verified) BLS (Basic Life Support)
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- American Heart Association NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Required
