Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse to join a dedicated inpatient wound care team. This role involves conducting consults, assessments, and wound management for patients across various units, including MS, PCU, ICU, and OR. Key Responsibilities Manage daily wound care consults and follow-up assessments (approx. 20+ per day) Divide workload collaboratively with team members Conduct full patient assessments and document treatment plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, social workers, nursing staff) Place wound care orders and provide patient education Utilize wound care equipment, including KCI wound vacs and advanced dressings Float as needed across inpatient departments Required Qualifications Active NY RN license Minimum 2 years of inpatient clinical experience Wound care unit experience required

Certifications Required:

BLS (AHA) WOCN (may take up to 1 year) or WCEI (can be completed within 1 week) Familiarity with Allscripts EMR Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
