Job Description:

Assessing, observing, and speaking to patients Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health Preparing patients for exams and treatment Administering medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with the medical team Assisting in medical procedures as needed Operating and monitoring medical equipment Drawing blood, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions Supervising clinical staff including

Qualifications:

Current and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of IA. 1+ year of psych experience including manager or lead experience. BLS and CPI certification preferred. Care Plan Education and development. Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures. Computer Technology. Must be able to do CIWA/COWS, UAs and be able to set/hold firm empathic boundaries Willingness to sign on as a permanent RN Supervisor if position is a good fit. Must pass criminal background check.
